I will probably run the Mardi Gras Marathon in Feb. I just qualified for the 50 States Marathon club (10 states) and it's one of their reunion marathons. I'm also a Penguin so I run about a 4:30 - 5 hour marathon. I've heard the negative but want to experience Louisiana (also I need it as a state). Let me know if you are going.
