How many weeks/months should be spent training to prepare for a marathon? I'm not concerned with time, only in crossing the finish line.
For the past month I've been running 3-4 miles 5-6x/week. I'm about to add a distance run. I'm hopeful April 2004 is doable.
Also, how important is weight training? Is it enough to run? I also do other cardio 2-3x week.
Going to the library/bookstore this weekend in search of nutrition books. I've got so much to learn...
