Midwestern Gal, I am not being sarcastic with my headline. I found that I can do 3 marathons/50k's within a 4 month period with no problems BUT having such a schedule hampers shorter distance racing and speedwork.

Also, I can't maintain such a schedule for long periods of time.

So, if you want to see how fast you can walk each of your marathons, I'd space them at least 12 weeks apart. If you just want to do them, 3-4 weeks should be sufficient; or perhaps you could do a "slow" marathon 3-4 weeks prior to your goal one.
