These dogs can walk or run at any pace for hours until you tell them to quit.
I have met stupid people who graduated from Harvard, I've met brilliant people who graduated from Florida State Univ.
If you call yourself a "runner" there shouldn't be any problem consistantly getting a BQ at every marathon you participate in.
To me a "runner" is one who averages a 7:00 mile pace or less. The rest of us are "joggers". Joggers aren't that much faster than walkers.
I have no data on hand, but I do hypothesize that the walking community are the majority of people participating in any large martahon and thus are the ones who finance the marathon making it possible for the runners and us joggers.
