SMP, I AM RUNNING WITH A MARATHON TRAINING GROUP, WE ALL RUN AT DIFFERENT PACES. THE 5/1 IS SUGESTED FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT RAN A MARATHON BEFOR. IT IS BASED ON JEFF GALLOWAYS RUNNING STYLE, BUT I READ A BIT ON THE NET ABOUT HIS STYLE AND I SEE HE RUNS LONGER BETWEEN WALKS. SO FAR THIS IS WORKING FOR ME BUT I DO THINK I WOULD LIKE TO DO MORE THAN 5 MIN. RUNS. I FEEL TOO GOOD TO STOP SO SOON. THANKS FOR RESPONDING TO MY POST. SANDY
