I know there are many who condemn Galloway's run-walk method to doing marathons. Though I don't use it, I personally think it is a great way to get non-runners, beginning runners and anyone who may not be ready to run the entire 26.2 mi distance to the finish line. My sister, who has a bad knee, has used it for 2 marathons and swears it is the only way she could finish them and loves it.
I'm wondering
how many of us women use or have used some type of Galloway method? If you have, please tell us your experience with it. If you have something negative to say, please do so with tact. I don't want this thread to become an ugly argument as previous ones have become on the other board. I'd like to give those who use Galloway-like methods a friendly place to voice their opinions and perhaps find some support among others who use it.
