As a woman who is small (115 lbs.) and slow (long run training pace is 12:00-13:00), this is a concern for me as I have more than one risk factor for over-hydrating. I've begun electrolyte-loading before a long run (plenty of bananas the day before and a salt capsule the morning of) in order to keep myself safe.
