The winner of the 10th Singapore International Marathon 2000 was South African Nixon Nkodima who clocked 2:27:7 in the Men's open category. The winner of the women's open category was Indonesian Osias Kamiase who clocked 2:29:05. The runner up was M.A. Chandrawati from Sri Lanka, who ran bare-footed and clocked 2:57:24.
