Hi. I'm a tall and big lass, new to running. I want to encourage plus size ladies to get into the habit of exercising, by creating a campaign called BigWomenCan. It is helping me get fitter and lose weight steadily. I've lost 5st in 2.5 years. i've gone from a size 24 to a size 16, I'm hoping to be a size 12 by the end of this year. I don't believe running is for the skinny lasses only (however, they will end up winning the races) I presently run 2km in 10 mins. I'm aiming for a half marathon in 6 months. I would like to know what specific training I should be doing, what I should be eating, what I should wear to exercise, how to improve my fitness and anything else that will help. Thanks.
