I run trails in my area and have trouble accurately determining distances that I cannot drive first in my car. Wondering if any of you know of some kind of device that can help figure distances on a map. Since the trails are winding, it is really hard to go by the 1 in. = 1 mile key provided on the map itself. Any advice?
