About "only 1" 20 miler; a friend of mine ran 3:19 without running any 20 milers. I ran my fastest (ok, it was only a 3:33) with a long run of 15 miles (6 50 mile weeks though).
Of course, now-a-days, I like to get in 3-4 20+ mile runs as I cramp up if I don't get in that many.
Now about Bambi: Wow Bambi, 9 whole marathons! Guess what? Doing 9 marathons incompetently does not qualify you for giving advice. So, come on Bambi, come out of the closet and tell us your marathon times!
BTW, Michael, Bambi must be a male; no way that a female can be such a jerk.
