Use the time to build your base cjrt 5/19/13 2:01:09 PM ET
The front end of any marathon training program is about building the base. Since you have the time, use the extra three weeks to become more comfortable running. If that means repeating week one three times and then week two a couple of times, go for it.
Your objective for a first marathon is to finish, and the only way to finish is to get to the starting line. Do not try to rush things. If you use the next three weeks to lay down an additional base, it will make the things which come later more valuable because you will have that much more strength and endurance when you get to the later weeks.
Good luck with the program and remember to have fun.
