A few things work for me. The first is to have a goal. Right now I am training for the Sunmart Ultra and want to PR so I focus on that. The next thing is to have a training partner or group. The last thing is to plan a schedule and stick to it but allow for some honest flexability. These things have really helped me handle the 100+ degree days we have been having!
