Sounds like you had a pretty tough go of it for your first marathon! But focus on all of your positive achievements!

I only lost about 10 pounds through my training and even with that miniscule loss have noticed a big change in my body/face as I look in the mirror. I can only imagine what a change has occured in your body/face.

Your first goal was to complete a marathon and you can now tick that off on one of your lifes accomplishments.

So now going forward - set yourself a new goal. Whether you choose to run to keep the weight off or run to reduce your time in whatever distance that's your choice. I don't care what motivation people need to get out there running - I think it's just great that they do.

Congrat's on becoming a marathoner!
