It's wonderful to train here in Utah during the summer. The early hour temperatures in the canyons where I run are ideal. I also have less pressure at the university during spring and summer terms.
Because of my injury--which is healing very nicely--I've taken down the old mountain bike and am now trying to bike for an hour everyother day, just to keep my cardio fitness up. I do a lot of hill work.
In one week, I will start running again. I feel like I could run today fairly pain free, but I don't want to take any chances.
In June, my wife and I are going to tour China, so after that I'll start training for the St. George Marathon (October 5), where I hope to BQ.
