Thank you all - both for the congratulations but also for all of the tips and support over the past few months.
Dr. Z - I hope your injuries heal fast.
What's next? I had originally thought that if I didn't have a good race in Vancouver or if I felt I could have finished faster then I would give the Stampede Marathon a try in July. But right after finishing I decided I couldn't have done much better.
3 days later I feel much better. My legs were quite stiff and sore Sunday night. 2 hot baths helped quite a bit. Monday we were stranded at the Vancouver Airport as Calgary was snowed in. So for 15 hours I got to walk around with the kids and that helped my legs stretch out a lot.
I probably won't go for a run for a couple of weeks but am tempted to look to see what Marathons are in the fall. Maybe my next goal will be to go sub 3:45.
Delirium - did you run the half at Vancouver? I think you had mentioned possibly doing it?
