Back in the pool a keep on deep water jogging. You can even get water shoes that immobilize the foot so yo can let the fractre heal. Put off making a decision but work out as if you ware going. That way if the foot does heal you'll be closer to ready. There was just an article (I think in Running Times)about the doctor who worked on Joan Benoit's knee 19 days before she won the Olympic Trial. She did all her prep in the pool, it can work.

On the other hand, if you don't get to do Boston, the pool will keep you from going totally to seed. Good luck, post back with progess.
