Michael Johnson has recently considered quitting competing in the 200. I wonder if he's ever considered trying to move up in distance to the 800? I know sprinters have a lot of trouble with more than 1 lap due largely to their size and muscle composition, but if Johnson could run through the first 400 in 50 seconds (which is a walk in the park for him) isn't it conceivable that he could do a second in 53?
It's something I'd like to see. What do you think?
