Jenefer, I totally hear you -- after my little face plant/strain/etc. episode, I have not been able to run since last weekend (Sunday) -- and my hamstring still hasn't calmed down. B/c I'm losing my medical insurance in a week, I've been going every day for PT, etc. (tho it's only covered about 30%, at least that's something). It just seems to be getting worse (I *know* that means it's getting better, but it's still a bummer). The PT said to me today "You have a high threshold to pain, don't you? WHY haven't you been in to see me in the last X Months?" (Gee doc, b/c I have been trying to help save my company -- hmmmmmmmm worthful trade off hmmmmmmmmm *sorry, that was just my sarcastic twin chiming in*)
SO ANYWAY, I have what, 17 days -- and a hamstring that doesn't even FEEL good. The PT says that my IT band is so tight that it's pulling things out of line -- and of course that I'm supposed to be "icing it every hour" (hello, what do you think I am a bored housewife, yeah I can just do that sitting on the couch with the box of bonbons *oops evil twin again! down girl down!*)
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, we'll see, that's all I can say right now. But I sure feel for ya, my friend.
