Last year in Boston was the first time I saw this 'name calling' thing, where the spectators call out the name they see on your shirt. I found thta very amusing - once it was explained to me during the race (I asked a fellow runner because I couldn't understand why people were calling out the name of someone near us who looked anonymous enough to me).
Then I started hearing people calling out... -Bob Dylan, my man!
-Hey look, its Bob Dylan!
-Check it out, here comes Bob Dylan!
-Bob Dylan, youre looking good!
This lasted for miles after miles... You'd have thought that people were actually believing the REAL Bob Dylan was running this thing, but it was a guy with a Bob Dylan touring shirt.
So I slowed down so that he may get next to me ... Following is the exchange we had:
-If youre Bob Dylan, I gotta be Elvis!
-How does it feel?
-Like a complete unknown.
-Queen Mary, shes my friend
-Yes, I believe Ill go see her again!
-I used to care
-But things have changed!
This was so funny! (BUt I guess you had to be there!)
