I'm sure these are elementary questions, but what advice can you give me for running my first mini (which takes place in about 48 hrs- Saturday May 7):
What kind of food should I eat the night before?
How many fluids should I drink over the next 48 hrs?
Is it better to wear new shoes or old shoes which are broken in (but also broken down!)?
How much should I eat/drink during the race?
How much should I stretch before/during/after the race?
Any other general advice for a guy who has never run any kind of distance events, and who is a newbie to this whole thing?!
