BUT it would seem to me, if it's a state of the art track, with all the markings, that all you would need to do is measure the distance between the inside track starting line for a 200 m race, and the next track starting line, and you will know how much the "difference is" between the tracks. Right? (Since each runner is "spaced out" in a 200 m race in such a way that each runs the same distance)
