I hope you will not expend too much energy soaking it up... Please be careful and stay focused on your race (Boston can be istracting that way, such a beautiful town).
I'll be arriving Saturday - but staying 30 kilometers away from Boston (inexpensive hotel by the highway) and will only go into town Sunday morning to pick up my stuff. Maybe I'll go to the pasta dinner (last year I was lucky, I got there early but the lineup soon got monstruous...).
A friend of mine who ran Boston last year took in all the sights and all there is to do, and she ran a miserable race. I was glad I had been conservative...
