I mentioned this before (in another life, on a board next door...)but two of my most satisfactory races (a half and a full, both PBs) started out in horrible (rain, cold, wind) conditions. I don't know why that is (better concentration? more haste? could it be our bodies prefer the cold? but then again, last year in Boston it was only slightly cold and I felt 'miserable' throughout the marathon) but it happens... Today it's raining and I know I will feel bad doing my hill repeats (Boston is in two weeks, exactly, and I'm scared...)
