Does anyone have any insight about compression socks? I typically run 2 marathons per year and when I am marathon training my mileage is 45-60 miles per week. My calves are typically tight (probably like many marathoners) and I had plantar fasciitis from Aug-Dec 2009. I generally do not try too many new things that seem like they may be a fad, but I've read a lot about these. Has anyone out there used them? Should they be used for all runs? Long runs? Speedwork? Tempo runs? Or recovery runs? Perhaps they can help my tight calves and my feet? Thanks.
