This last post by Zeke on Ang's situation is just the kind of information that a natural talent like her needs to advance her talent(and avoid her chronic injuries). She now needs to combine science with her running development. "The desired training effect does not take place during workout but during the recovery". DID YOU TAKE THIS IN ANG?

Some more science: Your muscles are composed of protein. Protein can be lost during all phases of your workout. When you exercise, your muscles break down protein in the cataboblic phase. Eat a mix of carbohydrates and protein two hours before your workout to keep your muscles from tiring too quickly. A lack of protein in your body before a workout will interfere with muscle recovery. Also eat some protein 30 minutes after your workout to help with muscle recovery and repair.

With some science incorporated into your training Ang, you have the natural talent to become a class runner.
