Fully agree with LT. Your aches are less about footwear choices, and more about post-marathon mileage. Now your body's pushing back.
The pity is, I hear stories like this far too often. Runners tend to be especially at risk of injury in the weeks following a marathon PR. So Ang, please read Pete Pfitzinger's informative article (as after-the- fact as it may be now)
