The closest together I've ever done marathons is 4 months.. but now that I'm getting more and more hooked =) and thinking of attempting 50 states.. I want to start doing them closer together. Is two months or a little less too close together? For instance.. if I do one Sept. 18th and then another one Nov. 7th? Any suggestions on how to train for marathons in such close proximity without incurring injury and still improving time? I have a sensitive hamstring I have to be careful of but am also highly competitive by nature.=) Thanks!
