I am looking to run my first marathon in 2011. I need help selecting the event. I live in California, but would not mind traveling to an event. I want to find one later in the year, sometime after July. I would like to find one with great spectator support, and one relatively flat. This will be challenging enough for me to run the distance, I don't want to throw in a major hill climb into the mix. Can anyone help me find a race that will work for me?
