What a terrible race! Don't waste your time or money! The management of this race is the worst I have seen. Nike tries to enamor the athletes with Tiffany medals (FYI NOT ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE THIS YEAR. Apparently mine will be mailed in 10-12 weeks), every piece of clothing you could desire, but they failed to deliver what was really important. There were not enough mylar blankets for soaking wet marathoners, then a 45 minute wait for the shuttle buses to get back to Union Square. The race is too big for the quality of management.
