I know this has been brought up a few times but I remember a formula that someone uses during their marathons that seems to work to perfection. (This may have come from Zeke.) Anyways it goes something like this.... the first 10 miles 6 seconds faster then race pace, and then the next 10 at race pace. And then miles 20-24 5 seconds slower and then the last 2.2 is 10 seconds slower. And you are right at you goal time. Now I know this is not the formula but if someone can remember that would be great. I'm looking at a 3:45 goal time.
