Fibular head pain during toe off/ swing phase

Has anyone had this type of pain/ injury before during running??? This started last week and continues to persist mainly when I try to run and sometimes occasionally when I walk. I have to stop when it happens because it hurts bad enough and feels like something is pulling. I feel it radiate down a little bit too sometimes. It happens right as I lift my foot off the ground so that means during beginning of knee flexion and foot supination. Dont think it's IT band since it is at the fibular head which is where the biceps femoris and anterior tib muscles attach.

I've tried stretching, strenghtening, massage, ultrasound and it seems fine but is still present when I run. Not sure if there is any taping for it or if a brace exists. Like I said, it seems to be somewhat "unique".

Please share any ideas/suggestions you may have. Chicago is only 2 weeks away and I want to be ready!!!!

Thanks again!!!
