Switching Long runs?

My training program calls for a 12 mile run the same weekend I am hosting some out of town visitors. The previous weekend calls for a 7 mile run. I am wondering if it would be OK to switch the long runs? I am a pretty slow runner and I want to spend as much time with my guests as possible. I also don't want to be exhausted the entire day that I do the run.

Also, if I do switch them, should I switch the entire week? I am following Hal Higdon's Novice Supreme plan...weeks 18 and 19 are the weeks in question. http://www.halhigdon.com/beginrunner/novicesupreme.htm

Any advice is appreciated!! Thanks!
