Rita - I did take it easy the first few weeks after my last marathon. I've also been rebuilding back up my mileage. I am taking a break from racing for now.. just going to do a half marathon in August and then the MarineCorps marathon in October. I would like to do some 10Ks but I don't have a lot of time on the weekends. Zeke - I'm not following a training program... for my first marathon I used 4 months to a 4 hour marathon. But it didn't really have enough mileage to feed my running "hunger". I have a really hard time not running as far as I can push myself every single day. I virtually never cross train but I do rest 1 day every week. I run a hilly course 1-2 times a week. The rest of the time I run at a track but I just run my miles. I want to increase my speed again but it's hard to not run far and hard every day. Do you know what I mean? What do you suggest?
