I just trained for and ran the Shamrock Marathon and had similar questions....I DID train in the Vibrams once or twice a week- on shorter runs. I felt that it did change my running form (for the better). For me using them once a week helped but I was not "ready" to run with them all the time. With that said - I am running another marathon in two weeks (Frederick) and think I will run the whole thing in the Vibrams. I did 16 in them today and felt strong. I'm also running Marine Corps — it is a great one!
