Dan: there is no way a 39-year old can better a 5k PR set 14 years prior (unless that mark was very soft to begin with). The current 5k masters world record of 13:43 is held by a 40-year old —that's well off the men's WR of 12:37, established by a 21-year old. Post a reply on the Bulletin Board
