I feel foolish for injuring myself like this... I had no idea.. I don't really know about all the technicalities of training, marathoning, etc.. I just like to get out there and run! Rest, recovery, tapering.. those are the hardest part for me. I like to run as long and as hard as I can. As I said, my legs felt fine and I was just shooting around.. it's that I fell in a weird way.. guess my muscles were still sensitive? I was following Higdon's post marathon schedule for intermediate and it said by day four I could run. Zeke - am I in danger of a rupture now or just in jumping like the basketball? I am stretching more, applying tiger balm, and hoping my calf will heal quickly!!!!
