Thanks! Yeah, it could be all those factors. I just hate it that I didn't push as I hard as I could've and then when I wanted to, I just didn't have anything left. I started with a friend who was doing his first half-marathon.. so I started slow 8:45 pace and ironically I finished at an 8:45 pace with 8:30 on the inbetween miles. Maybe if I had started faster? But then I might have had less left in the end... still figuring out this whole marathon thing and how to run them. I don't even know what I did in Philly - I just ran.. and ended up with a BQ so now that I'm thinking about it, it's almost more complicated! Have either you run the Baltimore UnderArmour marathon (it's in October) or the MarineCorps one? I'm wanting to do a fall marthon - I wouldn't do the National one again... I was thinking of doing Philly again but it'd also be nice to do a new one. Thoughts?
