my marathon schedules include 4 runs per week, but sometimes it's only 3, and rarely do the weekday runs exceed 5. However, I am trying to accomplish something specific on these runs (intervals, hill work, tempo, fartlek). You can obviously get some of these effects pushing a stroller, but you need to think in terms of a quality workout. Some folks here will tell you that your long run shouldn't be more than a certain percentage of your weekly total, but I often get 50%+ of my mileage on Sat or Sun. Right after your long run I suggest you do some strides, because your running form may deteriorate. I think you can succeed as long as your finishing time goal is not too ambitious. Good luck!
