Have had PF since late July. Took 5 weeks off from running in Sept. Been icing, stretching, using MELT balls rolling on bottom of feet, etc. Was almost pain free and running 3 days/week again and last week got up to 8 miles and then did a fast run at a pace a bit slower than tempo. Pain came back after that run. Wonder if it is something more - perhaps a spur? Or did I come back too fast. Also, anyone every try ART - Active Release Treatment? I have heard mixed reviews but a friend swears by it. My tight achilles is probably the cause of my PF. May go back to sports med doc again. Any advise is helpful. Thank you.
