Don't sweat it (figuratively, of course)

Chris, I feel your pain, brother. I got up early this morning to try and get a 15-miler in (started at 6:30) but by the time I hit mile 11, the heat, humidity, lack of wind and my running out of water caught up with me and I had to walk 3 of the last 4 miles just to get back to the truck. If you're running in the Deep South, running in the early morning or late evening (as prairierunner suggested) would probably be better, and if you haven't already done so, I'd invest in a Camelbak...allows you to carry more water on your long runs. My problem was I couldn't find mine till this evening...figures!
