I've been running for a little over a year and have finished 2 1/2 marathons and am now in the process of training for a full. I love to run and I'm really proud of my achievements however I thought that weight loss would be a byproduct of all my efforts and i haven't lost a pound! My legs look great and I feel great, but I haven't lost a pound! I'm not perfect in my eating, but I don't sit on the couch eating potato chips and i avoid fast food, no soft drinks. What's going on. I eat whole wheat products, nonfat yogurt, spinach, fruit, etc. I do eat a homemade cheeseburger now and then and some sweets, but I really thought that running would allow me to do those things and still loose weight.
