Crashed during long run, need advice

Can you please help? I am in week 7 of an 18 week marathon training schedule and 15 miles was my long run this a.m.

I crashed harder than I can ever remember and I am wondering if nutrition could be blamed or is it symptomatic of something else I should be worried about.

Here's the background. I've been running 5x/wk for total of 25-35 miles. Today, I was doing my normal long run and keeping it slow as usual - I started to feel very poorly around mile 8. I energy was just not there - at all. My heart rate seemed much higher than normal, breathing was hard too and my ears felt just like I was changing atmospheres.

I ran/walked on and off for the final 6 miles just to get home.

It was hot today - got up to 90 and it was humid - over 88%.

Oh yeah, I had 6 bottles of 7oz. gatorade to take every 25 mins. 1 GU gel and GU gel candy - 1 pckg.

Should I not continue with my training? Does this sound like deyhdration or something worse?

What would you do?

Thank You!
