hi! I am running a half marathon in january 2010 and never had a history of races before. however, i do occasional jogging but it is very slow. I tried to run a 10k race recently and took 65 mins. I know i am slow and i need a preparation plan. also there was a problem of chaffing in the inner thigh region that was not there during jogging relatively short distances. Some of the websites suggest vaseline but i doubt it will wash away as i sweat a lot. need suggestions!
