not quite clear on your weekly mileage and your time frame, but my longest training runs have never exceeded 15 miles. Not necessarily recommended, but high mileage weeks for me tend to result in injuries. I also train with slower runners and have some long runs in terms of time on my feet. But with my training, I don't treat the marathon as a race and I definitely start out SLOW. Good luck!
