I have noticed that in marathons the number of finishers is substantially less than the number of entrants - no surprise of course. In my highly scientific Analysis I have signed up and finished 5 marathons along the way I have had 4 friends sign up and 1 finish and 3 Did not start (DNS). That's 9 entries, 6 finishes 66.7% and 3 DNS 33.3% ... However scientific that analysis is, I was wondering if anyone had any better information on what percentage of people DNF and What percent of entrant DNS. Just curious if anyone has any information.
