| | The marathon boom has been fueled, in part, by the increase in the number of marathoners who don't care about time at all, and are just looking to finish the 26.2 mile trek (which is an achievement in itself)

| | SMP thought it would be a good idea to have a board dedicated specifically to women and women's running. We agree. Please keep this board true to its purpose as a venue for women runners (who are in the minority) to share. But, we hope that the women with a place of their own won't abandon the other boards here. |

And for a time, Bambi, Thumper, YellowShark, Ollie and SillyMinnow (Silly-Mildew) - regular posters to these boards - ended up off-topic and fighting. Here is a collection of these fights and disagreements. Hopefully this board won't grow too much, and we'll just keep it around for posterity, but if you need to disagree with someone and vent a bit, write it here.
