1/2 Marathon to benefit the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America
opens today. Marathon weekend returns to Sin City on November 14-16, 2014
featuring a running experience unlike any other on a race course
illuminated by the neon lights of the Las Vegas Strip.

In celebration of the 2014 Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas kickoff, thousands of
runners from around the world will participate in hosted nighttime 5k's as
well as virtual runs. The official grassroots events will take place in 11
cities from Los Angeles to Liverpool with Vegas-themed water stations,
prize giveaways and t-shirts for all attendees.

"There is not a better destination in the world for a Rock 'n' Roll
music-infused weekend than Las Vegas, the worldwide center of non-stop
entertainment," said Adam Zocks, Vice-President and Event Director of the
Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series. "The combination of a world-class running
event with the stunning nightlife and can't-miss attractions that Las Vegas
has to offer provides runners and their entourage with an unforgettable
marathon experience that culminates by running on the Strip at night."

Each of the marathon and half-marathon courses run on both sides of Las
Vegas Boulevard, featuring the must-see Vegas sights from the iconic
'Welcome to Las Vegas' sign to the Fountains of Bellagio to the finish line
at the base of the Mirage Volcano. The unique course and nighttime start
attracts thousands of participants from around the world to experience the
one-of-a-kind event with live bands at every mile, a Run-Thru Wedding for
couples to elope on the go, the infamous group of Running Elvi and pre and
post-event parties throughout the weekend at Vegas' top nightlife venues.

For the first time in Las Vegas marathon history, last year's event
featured a new November date that proved to be wildly successful as
participants enjoyed warmer weather compared to the traditional December
event date. The event also featured the debut of the popular Zappos.com ½
of the Half, a shorter distance option that finishes in downtown Las Vegas
and sold-out with 2,500 participants. The 2014 ½ of the Half will include a
dynamic post-race festival in the brand new Container Park.

New in 2014, runners have the option of purchasing a VIP package to add to
the ultimate Las Vegas experience. The new VIP packages, available at
StripatNight.com, provide three options for runners to gain exclusive
marathon access throughout the weekend. The packages include perks such as
private packet pick up at the Expo, Start and Finish Line VIP access,
Canyon Ranch SpaClub Gift Cards, and upgraded refreshments.

"With the addition of VIP packages, our goal is to provide participants
with the ability to experience a first class, behind the red rope weekend
that epitomizes the allure of Sin City," added Zocks. "Moving to the
November date and giving the marathon its own weekend on the Las Vegas
event calendar was tremendously successful by all accounts. We look forward
to rolling out additional events that will take place throughout the
weekend, which we know runners of all ability levels won't want to miss."

The 2014 marathon weekend begins with a free two-day Health & Fitness Expo
where all participants go to pick up their race number, swag bag and
t-shirt. The ultimate running resource will take place at the Las Vegas
Convention Center on Friday, November 14 and Saturday, November 15 and will
feature more than 100 running and fitness retailers, exhibits and a full
series of interactive clinics.
